Abby Lee Miller of the eponymous dance company; reference used. Maybe if I’d warmed up before attempting this I wouldn’t have had so much trouble with her left eye.
I’d completely forgotten how much I disliked working with charcoal! Thanks for reminding me why this stuff’s been sitting untouched in my tacklebox for the past eight years. ;)
I could make this into one of those Wrimo Rhinos.

Rumor has it, catching a cloverfirefly will bring you good luck! Just be nice and let her go before the night ends, please.
Last challenge 9-related post! It’s rare for me to time myself on drawings (need to do that more) but for once, I know this took about an hour. Inked in Painter IX.5, colored in PS CS4.

I was an omnipresent observer, watching this party of five travel far and wide. Eventually they reached this desert. And while they were originally just passing through, when they stumbled upon that shrine they decided releasing the small god inside was an important part of completing their mission.
It was about as good an idea as the dark clouds would imply. It’s not that he was evil and decided to antagonize them with his powers—on the contrary, he was the kindest person in the group.
But releasing his seal brought grave misfortune upon the rest of the world.
The challenge was to recreate a place from your dreams. lol @ those “clouds”
