  but I’m planning to dedicate August to backlog-reduction and possibly a very fancy new fountain pen, so if I’m a good girl this’ll be the last monthly shitpost until at least the end of September

  The copy of RGC is still shrinkwrapped because I got it quite literally an hour and thirty minutes ago. If you are thinking about buying it but haven’t yet you should GO DO IT because it just got a price drop and this awesome dude will send you a seriously fucking adorable Haggle Man pin.

  I’m a little shaky on Grandia 2, even though I mostly bought it at Tall Guy’s request. (he’s itching for a traditional JRPG) Hope I’m mistaken, or that he ends up liking it more than I think I will.

  Play-Asia’s summer sale! Unfortunately, I am an idiot and it was 3 AM; consequently I went to bed without clicking “confirm order”.

  In the morning, Coloris was sold out. aaaaaa. Ended up paying three times as much for it on fleabay—which isn’t that bad, frankly.

  I told myself I’d be good this month, since I was supposed to be getting a red PS2 in July.

  …Of course, FYE then decides to get in mountains of relatively hard-to-find stock from area store closings—in excellent condition, and priced low enough to make me shit bricks.

  My mind is officially fucking blown by my own incredible luck. And now that I know that I did get MMZ4 free (despite being told the deal didn’t apply to GBA games!) I’ll probably be going back through their PS2 bins in July.
